There are a few that I often use, one of them is google translate extension, and the other is color zilla.

I often use google translate because I often read Japanese web novels that hasn’t been translated, sure it’s a bit rough around the edges since not every word or sentence can be translated as intended, it’s pretty handy to use so that you don’t have to copy paste the entire page to the google translate web.

Now about color zilla, I may not be a graphic designer, but I do edit a few images here and there, color zilla definitely helps me in getting the color I need from certain webs that caught my eye, and after you mess with the settings a little bit, you can get the colors from pdf files that you open on the web.

Honestly, Honey has saved me from spending way more than I need to so many times. Don’t get me wrong, I know the adverts for it seem to be everywhere at the moment but it’s genuinely so helpful, especially when self employed 🙌

GoFullPage is a Chrome extension I use constantly for work. When creating case files, I often need to include images of entire web pages, regardless of length. GoFullPage let's you snag a page as an image in its entirety with a single click, then you decide whether you copy the image, save it as a file, copy the image URL, etc.

Before I found the extension, I was having to do multiple screen grabs as I scrolled down and it was a massive pain.

It's definitely for a niche audience/set of use cases, but if you need it, you'll be glad you have it for SURE.

Camel Camel Camel or The Camelizer

If you're a serial Amazon purchaser as I am and notice that items seem to yo-yo constantly in price. Well you need this extension. It tracks the price of amazon products so you know historically whether you're getting a good deal.

Amazon has caught up to this now with price trends however way back when I used this and it helped refrain me from those impulse purchases that made worked it's way into my basket to achieve the free shipping quota.

The Capital one shopping and Coupert extensions are honestly pretty good. I use them back to back with two other coupon extensions and they are the most solid in pulling working codes. I do not do too much online shopping, but I have saved a lot of money while using these. The best thing about them, however, is their cashback features. If you make a lot of purchases or have to make big purchases, the cashback features really comes through. Sometimes if you do it right, you can get them both to pay you cashback for a purchase despite claiming that only one can be active. A friend of mine makes a lot of construction/building material related purchases using Capital one and They've racked up over $500 in cashback.

A tip, for Capital one especially, is browse an item or website a few hours, or a day if you can, before you make your purchase. Capital one will clock an item or the site you are looking on and sometimes will email you a special cashback offer that is higher than the usual rate. Capital one is the best at this, but some of the other coupon extensions do it too.

You only really need an extension and it's called an adblocker. Ads are annoying at best, malicious at worst (they have been used as vectors for malwares before) and they really have gone overboard; if you ever saw those websites where there are so much ads that readying the article is impossible you probably understand. Thus, adblockers makes for a smoother and safer browsing experience. Also, if your website business relies that much on ads to survive, you might want to rethink your business model ;)

uBlock Origin is probably the best one, working on multiple browsers and plug and play. On Chrome it will be seen how long it will work with the oncoming changes to the architecture on which extensions works.

Another extension I personally use and recommend is Privacy Badger by Electronic Frontiers Foundation which tries to stop advertisers and trackers from tracking where you go and what you're looking at. It's not their business ;)

Well... in this case, the Chrome extension is called "Tetrys"

We've all had those moments where we're absolutely zonked out of our minds and a little quick pick me up like Tetris is the perfect thing... provided you don't get too sidetracked with its addictive gameplay and convenient score meter. It's pretty much the most basic and simplistic game extension that just works.

Dark Reader is GOATED extension!

Dark reader is a MUST extension if you using Mozilla (yes, im using mozilla), it turns all the "Bright" website to dark mode while we can read it. Yes, i HATE light mode for couple websites :))))

The extension that I always use is VidiQ, why do I use VidiQ? because sometimes I monitor engagement that is trending and can see what is really up from people's videos or my own videos and can see what makes my viewers interested, but not only that I can also see engagement from my tiktok videos or other people which can be seen if I use this extension.

On which level does your provider block and an which Country do you live?
Germany they only allwoed to block on DNS Level which you simply swap to free DNS.

But to unlock a geolock VPN is the right choice and if it´s easy why not :)

If you are like me and have dyslexia and cannot spell properly or struggle to create coherent sentences, this add-on helps you, I am also due to MH EBD very blunt and often when I type I don't form the thoughts properly and Grammarly helps with that as well. So for me, it's a must-have addon, especially when writing emails and replying to and creating posts on Just About!

Bitwarden :)

It's a password and payment card manager. It's really handy for me because I'm super forgetful! You can also make different folders so you can organise passwords for work, school, personal life etc.

Aswell as managing your passwords, it can generate a super secure one for you aswell :) I know it's a super simple browser extension but I have noticed a difference at how easy my life is before and after getting it <3

Absolutely great service. On a Free plan you can create an organization for 2 people and share passes with meaningful ones, pretty handy.

Any other similar services like dashlane, LastPass etc, not even close to Bitwarden.

Grammarly is an excellent addon, even in its free version. It works as an advanced spellchecker, detecting typos, grammar mistakes, and even making stylistic suggestions. This tool helps you focus on content rather than correctness. Additionally, it can suggest synonyms and more suitable words.

However, I recommend turning it off on certain websites, like Jusabout, as kot it also.uses AI thus it can sometimes trigger AI-detection. Fortunately, you can exclude specific websites so it won't recommend or check anything there.

This little tool is a game-changer for writing efficiently and accurately!

Sometimes Websites have oldschool HTTP links... this how we make them secure.

This is one of the first levels of privacy, if you don´t have it but using a VPN.
You don´t understand VPN, neither privacy... neither IT.

I work as a full-time graphic designer and for my work it requires me to create and design a lot of emails that go out to clients and brokers. A lot of the emails that I create are in an OFT format, this is quite a common full amount for emails to be created and designed in.

So I use this extension and it’s simply called Text Symbols. is very useful for when I’m in the system and designing the emails it’s quick and easy access to get certain symbols that will work in the OFT format. Most of the symbolism that I use within my emails all actors caveats for body copy within the email so it’s not like I’m doing anything too crazy with the symbols. My Go to are the arrowsi and crosses as they are the most versatile.

I consume quite a lot of YouTube content, but the website has a lot of issues that ruin my experience if I have to browse regular vanilla YouTube.

Auto play, hidden controls, convoluted menus, forced shorts, weird quality settings... It's not a pleasant experience.

Thankfully, Enhancer for YouTube exists. I absolutely love this extension. With it, I can stop videos from playing automatically, I can make all videos play at a certain quality setting without letting YouTube guess which quality I prefer (and fail), I can speed up videos slightly with just one click, and more! Honestly, it's a lifesaver.

'Momentum' is a really handy extension that just helps you keep on track of your daily work aim. You simply type your main goal for the day into the box and it'll prompt you to keep working towards your main aim.

I find this really useful as it's all too easy to get lost in a rabbit warren of Internet news articles and stories that drag you away from the task at hand. Distractions often impact productivity so this really acts as a subtle and helpful prompt to keep you on track and prevent any stress and anxiety that may be associated with missing deadline etc too! Well worth a look.

HANDS DOWN the Chrome Extension called "Monkey Mart Unblocked" this is a browser extension game I found at work, it works on the NHS computers at work and it's an extension that opens up a game where you start as a monkey in a store who has one banana tree, the tree grows bananas and you sell them to make money and extend to other items such as Corn, Eggs, Milk, Popcorn and I can't tell you how addicting this browser extension is, so useful when I'm doing something mindless at work or I have a few minutes to kill in between phone calls

I recently used ‘keeper’ at work and it’s really helpful! It’s basically a password saver but it has the two factor authentication so it’s super secure and short helpful because it remembers all your passwords so you don’t need to ☺️
