I just reviewed the Glorious GMMK 3 Pro HE worth $501.99, and it's changed my entire perspective as someone who types for a living, but I completely understand just how absurd that figure is:

I've paid 70 USD and this is the maximum I'll pay. It just need to be responsive, anything more than that is a waste of money
I don't think I can agree with the word "waste" but diminishing returns, for sure. Being in a position of privilege, I fell in love with the Asus ROG Azoth for its premium typing experience (fell out of love with it because of its quality control issues). Since then, I've been absolutely spoiled. I don't think I could ever justify $500 USD all in one fell swoop but knowing the quality and the fact I type for a living, it becomes much more of an investment.
I think I paid $160 for my Razer Black Widow, which I was very hesitant about, as I don't think a keyboard should cost more than $100, but based on how good my Razer Naga mouse is I gave in. No regrets so far, I love that keyboard, very comfortable, silent for a mechanical and easy to manage with the software.
That's wonderful! I know that most keyboards are pretty expensive nowadays, but as I mentioned above, I do consider them investments. It just depends on the level of investment somebody's willing to make. The one thing I like about this keyboard is that if new tech comes out, I can just buy a new PCB and swap it in rather than invest in an entirely new keyboard.

50-100$
Any more than that, is not worthy (if you ask me).
