Based on my experience with social networks, for me, the ideal would be for the user to have even greater control over what they have access to. For example, even greater personalization, not only offering suggestions based on algorithms, but also the possibility of configuring the feed so that those who wish can completely block some content they don't want to see (I'd love that here, because I get to know things against my will haha).

I think that in a perfect world there could also be greater transparency (ideally total transparency) about how these algorithms work and how we can adjust them manually. I just feel that on some social networks our data is sold and nothing else matters.

Another very important pillar would be an environment that promotes digital well-being and the conscious and healthy use of technology. The amount of time spent is already interesting, but it would be even more beneficial if there were intelligent blocks, such as at rest times, meal times... as well as a focus mode integrated with social networks at times when we need to be more productive.

As well as encouraging original content, talent and, above all, truth! I don't like superficial engagement, like dancing or things like that. In my opinion, informative content would be much better, and I even follow several people who do this in a very entertaining way. As well as encouraging art, writing...

I think that would be ideal for me. Bringing together personalization to meet everyone's needs, promoting conscious use and valuing talent. Nowadays there's a lack of places that focus on the user experience, now it's just a storm of advertisements. Finally, monetization as a form of reward for healthy use I think is an incredible idea too, it stimulates engagement and works very well for me!

Social Media with no tolerance for politics and everybody is anonymous. That's it.

All I do on Social Medias is just scroll and look at animal pictures & videos and memes so... It's like a big friends' group chat where memes are being shared around except there's thousands of people instead

Dream Incoming - Social Media in a Dream

Imagine a social media that doesn't happen on a screen, but in a dream. Dream Incoming is a future social platform that allows users to connect, explore and experience unique activities while they sleep.

The main concept is simple. Our body rests, but the mind wakes up in a virtual world that provides experiences beyond the confines of the real world. Unlike traditional social media that often disrupts sleep patterns and mental health, Dream Incoming actually improves the quality of rest-users still sleep as usual, but can enjoy a whole new digital life.

What makes it different is the dream-based interaction, where instead of just looking at a screen and scrolling through content, users actually experience things in their dream world. Also, there is no interference with real-world affairs, such as politics or law, so the platform is purely a place of escape and exploration. The transition is also seamless, as users can access and review their experiences while awake, but to truly “live” in the app, they must be asleep.

Dream Incoming is not just a virtual world-it's an evolution of the way humans connect, create, and experience the impossible, while still giving the body optimal rest.

Social media can be brilliant for so many reasons, yet sadly it can also be hostile and ruined by individuals who troll, bully or belittle other users. In my ideal social media platform, there would be safety controls in place to moderate and remove such content immediately - or even to prevent it being posted before the send button is even hit on a comment or message. I’m unsure how, but that’s what I would implement. So many pre-existing platforms state that they remove negative content or they monitor what goes on, but they’re such huge sites that these comments can get missed, or the bots that moderate simply make the wrong choices. My dream platform would be safe for all users and would instantly remove any content that is anything other than positive.
