This my first soldering piece. Originally it is from an event where we teach kids how to solder. And you probably guessed it already; it's a digital dice.

Also this set could once be bought by Pollin for ~5 Bucks. https://www.pollin.de/p/bausatz-elektronischer-wuerfel-810066

This kind of a joke against the "Healy" :P It tells you from 6 to 1 how good you feel, just press the button. And the device starts scanning your body & aura.

For others it will still be a dice.

This is the only thing which have done so i am proud of it

Very nice, you know what's next though right?

I couldn't enter this, even if I wanted to, I can't even put a shelf up, I can build computers with my eyes closed, DIY? Hell no, my wife won't even let me own power tools :P

Ha! I'm actually planning to put up my first shelf soon, so I'll let you know how that goes. This bounty is for DIY tech builds though, so if you can build a PC with your eyes closed, maybe you have put together other tech-y things too?

I'm amazed every time I see this

haha! - thanks! - the most difficult thing was sourcing the parts and waiting delivery! I think it took me around 2 hours to make :P

Let's play a little game! Take a close look at this photo and share your thoughts on what kind of ingenious project or inventive solution it might be showcasing. Who can unravel the mystery behind this snapshot of creativity and innovation? Before the bounty expires, I'll reveal what it actually is if no one guesses correctly. Put on your thinking caps, and let's see those guesses!

UPDATE: well Dave is right, its a camera and light mount for cinematic action. Some might call it a waste of time, especially since all I get is a 3 sec of video. But for me, such DIY projects, are always fun.

It looks like you screw the wood piece down, then then attach a camera to the mount/s. Then the rings allow you to smoothly spin it a full 360 degrees while shooting? Or to easily adjust what direction its facing?

Sturmer's avatar

Yup, it's a 12-inch large ball bearing with 4 mounts for 3D rotation and distance adjustments of the camera.

Nice! the only reason I guessed was because some comments I thought back to in the best gig bounty in the music community. So I thought, right.. it's got to be a camera mount, wait a minute those two rings must mean it rotates!
