This is great. Last week WoW fans on the subreddit invented a fictional character to trick AI-assisted websites, which duly fell for it. Then Destiny fans did the same thing:

I'm sure AI will soon get clever enough to recognise these ploys (the WoW thread openly says "I want some major bot operated news websites to publish an article about this") but in the meantime it's an excellent illustration of its many shortcomings.
