Eve Online producer CCP have been providing players with the ability to find fragments of schematics in-game which give clues to upcoming new ships and features.
Today, they're offered a huge 50 billion isk* to the first players / groups to discover a new Jove stargate.
The locations of the gates are still unknown, but you can collect
fragments from Guristas and Angel Commander wrecks that will aid you on
your voyage of discovery. You will also need to recover Jovian Symbolic
Navigators from Jove Observatories and use them in the correct star
system, in the appropriate combination to get to the precise gate
location.
The idea of a new gate is also exciting because they lead to places. Whether it's a new area of space or a shortcut to an existing area is still to be revealed.
*For context, a month's game-time is about £20 / $20, which equates to approx 2.5 billion isk in-game.
