Larian Studios didn't release the RPG in perfect condition, but it definitely knows how to drum up hype with upcoming features. And it's pretty quick in the grand scheme of things. I love the fact that removing your friend-made characters is now folded into the lore using Withers. This patch is sure to be a good one when it lands.

The box art of BG3 has been reminding me of something since I saw it, but it's only now thanks to your post that I was able to put my finger on it!
Now I'm seeing it side by side, I can see that it's not as similar as my brain was making me believe...
It might not be too similar visually, but I see what you mean. There's a tonal similarity in the way both are dark fantasy, yet playful in its approach. Neither takes itself too seriously, which is wonderful.
