Payday 3 looms, and while the series' focus is firmly on its distinctive multiplayer offering of co-op bank robbery - kind of like GTA V's heists writ large - there's also an overarching story. As newcomers consider diving in, why not give them some water wings in the form of a lore primer?
What do players need to know about the Payday universe so far? What essential lore should we all be clued up on before donning our masks and storming the banks? We're looking to assemble an authoritative timeline, created by the community, so that new players can feel grounded in this world and focus solely on the job in hand.
Description: Summarise events in the overarching story and other important lore from Payday 1 and 2
