I have A Whole Thing about games that clearly aspire to be movies or TV shows and don't make proper use of the interactivity of gaming, thereby undermining the medium, especially when they're offered as evidence that 'games can be art, actually'. TLOU was always my prime example of this, and I think I've been vindicated by the existence of the TV show, since when I would argue there's no point playing the game any more.

I'm always tempted to add MGS, but then I remember the interactive/voluntary parts of the story, the cooky meta stuff about free will, is all brilliant and very game-dependent. Not to mention the stealth-action gameplay is consistently first-class too.

So yeah, stoked for this. Hope Konami can do a decent job without Kojima.
