The Day Before sold 200k units in the first few days of release - half of which have now been refunded - and with the game seeing a 2/10 Steam rating, the developer has shut down..!
All of the game's social accounts have disappeared too. It's not clear whether an exit scam was always the intention or just felt like the best option given how badly the release has gone. But this kind of thing could become more commonplace given almost all of the (AI) tools are freely available to generate everything you need to create a 'fake' product and start selling it. Buyer beware..!
