Good discount news for devs and players

Anywho, an update coming to Steam promises good news for both game developers and players as discounts will soon be able to last up to 14 days should the devs choose. Given how busy the game release calendar is these days (and the fact realising you missed a sale by one day is heart-breaking) this is good news all round.

Valve lets Steam launch discounts double in length, so the savings now last between 7 and 14 days

Valve also caps the launch sales at 40%
