One thing that I really enjoy about this platform is the lack of misogyny in spaces concerned with gaming and tech.
Obviously most gamers are not misogynistic - just sometimes I feel on other platforms the loudest voices are the most hateful.
This is definitely something that just naturally comes with JA being a prosocial environment. I think it's a testament to the fact that if you encourage prosocial behaviour it will just come about with no intense need to 'push' it. Most people are just nice!
It's something I really appreciate because sometimes I've been a bit hesitant to ever show any interest in gaming online and here I feel more inclined to participate. Also it's making me more interesting in gaming in general! It's always been an area I've distanced myself from a little, despite always enjoying gaming secretly heheheh.
