Now this could have went into tv and film section too! Anyways it seems we are finally on an upward trend for videogame adaptations making there way to tv and film! But the big question is which is your favourite!? 🤩
Now even before this recent batch I really enjoyed the Tomb Raider movie reboot which I think just released at the wrong time during marvel mania which obliterated all other movies at the time!

I do wonder sometimes if there is any reason for movie/ TV adaptations.
I understand for books as there is often a missing visual elements so adaptation will help for those that visualise or imagine it. Same with comics and manga so you can add movement and sound. But videogames have all of that already and if anything you're removing the key part of videogames that makes them unique i.e. your own input!
I'm not against adaptations but I think if they did do one then it should be an unique story that builds on the world established in the videogame not a re-tread of a story that has been seen before in the game
I think they are finally getting it, because they now know to keep it within the "storyline" and stop wandering off into random crap that neither happened in-game or in the books lol.
well, I need a few more days to evaluate Fallout!
I think Fallout and The Last of Us were both really great, and I can't wait for the next seasons.
Mario and Sonic were a little on the safe side but I had a tonne of fun with them, especially Sonic 2.
I'm also one of the handful of people that enjoyed the recent Resident Evil movie and (sadly now cancelled) TV show
haha here I agree! During the pandemic my wife and I went on a binge and watched all of them and they were great fun lol more action movies than horror or super close to resi but I enjoyed it haha
