To be fair, I'd happily use this, especially on the go, it's quite novel really.

Same I think it could be a nice pairing with game pass! What kind of price do you think it would need to hit to be successful though?

EveOnlineTutorials's avatar

Would be at least half the xbox cost IMO, in my opinion.

MURRRAAAAY's avatar

Half the cost of series s or series x?

EveOnlineTutorials's avatar

Well i would think a handheld needs to be at least half the cost of their leading console

MURRRAAAAY's avatar

That’s fair I’d take that so about £250! That would be really competitively priced if they hit that price range I think it would fly off shelves! Fingers crossed

How is it with game pass, do you use it on Xbox and PC as well or are they 2 different things?

MURRRAAAAY's avatar

hows game pass? Its great! Yeah I have ultimate which can be used on pc and Xbox! So yeah I’d imagine this paired with the handheld would be a great combo!

In that case yes, this would be a great option for those who like to play their games on different platforms. Somehow the controls look more comfortable than Steam Deck. I tried that one and didn't like that much the positioning of the joysticks.

Yeah fingers crossed it’s comfy, this is just a mock up so we need to tune in on Sunday to see if we get a peak at it! 🤞

Probably not, as there are plenty of these gadgets on the market. Unless its price is lower than other options, it won't stand out.

I partly agree, I hope your right about the price, hopefully Microsoft will subsidise it so it’s not super expensive but I also think a tight integration with Xbox and the Xbox services could be a differentiator , running a native version of Xbox/windows could be cool! But also some may see that as is downside as they may want multiple launchers available like steam / epic etc , interesting times ahead tho as I’m always excited for new hardware! The more the merrier as I just don’t want. World where everything is in the cloud and beamed to our TVs where there’s no hardware to buy apart from maybe a controller lol maybe it’s an age thing but I don’t think there’s anything better than getting a new console haha

This is the main issue: all other Indiegogo handheld consoles and major brands like MSI and Asus run on Windows OS, allowing them to support GeForce Now, Steam, Uplay, Epic Games, and Xbox Game Pass. Additionally, the Steam Deck can run most Microsoft and now Blizzard games, along with game streaming services.

I might sound skeptical, but I'm actually excited too. I'm just pointing out that they're entering a very competitive market. If they price it at $250 and unlock it from Xbox services, it could be a game-changer.

Also here is something I forgot to mention in the video, imagine it is dockabale kind of like the switch so you could play on the go then dock to play on your tv or monitor? Would that be even more appealing!?
