Looks like Saber Interactive has really stuck the landing with Space Marine 2. On top of broadly positive reviews, players are flocking to the brutal alien-slaying shooter on Steam, and have done so in such numbers that it's officially the most-played Warhammer game on the platform.
Space Marine 2's post-launch peak of 225,690 blows past Total War: Warhammer 3's all-time peak of 166,754. Total War: Warhammer is, as we all know, based in the Warhammer Fantasy setting - Space Marine 2's peak player count is actually more than double the 108,395 that Darktide, the previous most successful game to be based in Warhammer's sci-fi universe, 40k, managed to attract.
