When we talk about minigames in games, it is inevitable to think of titles like Yakuza or Like a Dragon, also because they are full of secondary activities to gain experience, coins or simply have fun, yet I want to mention the titles of the Hoyoverse series, such as Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero and Star Rail, which are the ones I currently play.
With some updates, some really fun minigames are added, such as the musical one in Genshin Impact, where you had to play the harp in time, or a sort of puzzle bobble in Star Rail, without forgetting the puzzles to put together in Zenless Zone Zero, recently added . Of course, some minigames are rather wooden and challenging, especially those based on combat, but essentially the minigames added with each update of the titles in question allow you to both farm the necessary currency for banners and have fun, taking a break from the main plot.
Being a lover of music games, I prefer those minigames where you have to press buttons in time to complete a song.
