This week for Final Fantasy Friday we are going to looking at some other games that are not Final Fantasy, so why talk about other games if this is Final Fantasy Friday? Well that is because this list of games are just some of the games in which Final Fantasy has had crossovers and collaborations with or have had elements or influences of Final Fantasy in their games.
The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind
In the The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind there is a dungeon called the Urshilaku Burial Caverns and in this dungeon there is a room called Kefka Burial, which is a reference to Kefka, the antagonist in Final Fantasy VI.
Super Mario RPG
In Super Mario RPG there is a secret boss called Culex and there are several things that point to an influence from Final Fantasy including the way Culex has 4 elemental crystals which are a common theme in FF, instead of being rendered in 3d he is rendered in 2d with two sprites which was common for bosses in the early FF games, the music that plays during the fight and after are actually remixes of various FF music and his dialogue refers to him coming from a different dimension and even breaks the Fourth Wall when telling Mario: "Perhaps in another time, another game, we may have been mortal enemies...".

Summary
These are just some of the games that have had crossovers or influences from the Final Fantasy series in them and it just goes to show how much of a reach outside of the FF game there are. It is interesting to see some references to FF in other games and my personal favourite has to be cleaning the Final Fantasy vehicles and locations in Powerwash Simluator.
If you have come across any of these Final Fantasy crossovers please share your experiences of this.
