Share your favourite example of environmental storytelling in gaming!

Felix’s love of Tossball, Nyoka’s penchant for drinking and collecting trophies from monsters, Parvati’s love of all things mechanical. Every companion room I walk into on my ship in The Outer Worlds tells me a story about that companion. Even my room on the ship tells the stories of my travels, all without any dialogue or reading needed. Just objects placed in such a way that I can tell what has been going on in the lives of the people traveling on The Unreliable.
