I've only just found out that Gabriel Garcia Marquez's magical realist classic is getting a Netflix adaptation next month. I love the novel, but given the rapid passage of time covered by it (among other things), I would have thought it'd be a very difficult story to tell on screen. Still, the trailer looks promising and you can consider me intrigued. Has anyone read the book or anything else about the Netflix adaptation?
