For me:

I used to take "constructive criticism" really hard, I didn't like it, and I felt attacked but as I got older and was on YouTube for longer periods of time, I now take it on board for what it is and try to improve our content based on this.

Positive comments, are amazing to read, I think getting those really uplifts what you are doing and the reasons you are doing it. It makes all the hard work, worth it, people often forget that "making" the video is a tiny step of what we do. So to know you have reached someone on a personal level is an amazing feeling as a content creator.

I do love to see a comment especially positive ones or people simply enjoying content I put out. I am mostly active with my pet account and it is not that controversial so I feel pretty safe in putting out content.

Anything non helpful or just downright negative I have managed to ignore in the past.

I do enjoy it when a comment leads to a nice chat with someone even if it is just for 5 minutes or so and that can be inspiring to put out another bit of content because someone else might engage with it leading to another chat.

My favorite type of comment is along the lines of “I can’t believe you only have X subscribers.” Definitely thrive off of that sentiment.

I try to respond to all comments. Unless they are confusing/pointlessly negative, then I just ignore them.
