This could go under Final Fantasy Friday as well, but I miss the monthly bounty of highlighting creators, so might as well make this another recurring post.
There are channels who only have a few videos per year, but you can be sure they are always an absolute banger. Among the FFXIV creators Magitek Productions is definitely one. I discovered the channel when they had an entry for the FFXIV Fan Fest video competition, and I was blown away by both the game capture and editing. The style of this new video gives us a glimpse into how an FFXIV anime could look like, and oh boy I'm all for it. I can't even tell if there were any mods or custom poses used for the recording, as the majority of the movement looks like existing ingame emotes and poses. But the SFX and VFX work is absolutely stunning!
I need to find time to make more artistic videos, because what you see in this one is everything I wanted to do when I was studying video editing, and would love to make videos in similar style, but that would probably mean like 2 videos per year and taking time off work to do them 😅
