Critter Café x Lofi Girl collab - CHILL BEATS TO SERVE TREATS TO - Monday 2pm GMT

Hi everyone and apologies to Chris Groves if you had meant to post this yourself but since I've seen it announced everywhere but here, and I'm really excited to share it, I'm allowing myself to post it!!

I listen to a LOT of Lofi and Lofi Girl, while being one of the OG channels, is very dear to my heart for 1) featuring a city I love in its first, iconic video 2) hiring real human artists to make the background for their videos, and not using genAI like so many of their competitors. (if you're curious, in the description of their videos they usually link to a process post on Instagram!)

Anyway, I'm really excited for this collab! I hope they make many more, because this is SUCH a beautiful image already, I want a wallpaper version of it, like, stat!

I had to leave shortly and could stay for a few minutes (but I left it on in the background for the analytics lol) and I think they cooked!! The music was really mellow and that illustration is SO GOOD, I want it as a wallpaper stat!

I honestly can't believe how quickly that hour went by! I was just chilling with it on my TV while was working on my laptop...it's so easy to get in the zone with lofi tracks.

Critter Café is such a natural fit for it as well. Whoever came up with the crossover idea deserves a raise 😄As soon as the stream ended it went right on my saved playlist!

Thanks for sharing this and tuning in folks :) We've absolutely loved collaborating with Lofi Girl on this. They nailed the assignment, and there are so many nice references to Critter Cafe in the full video!
