For the first time I explored the planet my home station orbits (Scully-Power Station orbiting Ix 3). Turns out it's extremely bumpy and has some crazy steep edged cliffs! For now I just took the SRV out and jumped around a bit near my ship (specifically bought and equipped for the exploration of this planet). A few loopings, some fairly smooth landings (after losing half my hull integrity exploring the mountain to the left) and I got these three tricks as my favourites.

I plan on doing more in depth excursions, perhaps even bring a few fighters and race around the steepest cliffs. I will also visit Diesel's Inheritance for the first time I suppose, not sure how they carved a flat enough bit of land for landing pads out of this terrain though!

Ever wondered what happens when you give a cat an SRV and set it loose on an alien planet? Spoiler alert: pure chaos! Join us as our fearless feline pilot takes the wheel, showcasing its questionable driving skills and knack for getting into hilarious predicaments.

PS : Those that have motion sickness , bring a bucket :)

I thought it was a very well done backflip hahaha

I don't often use an SRV anymore these days so I don't have much footage. Just something I threw together from a spot I remembered while I was filming the documentary.

I'm not a master in piloting SRVs so I just kept it simple with just a back flip!

The Spire sites are one of the most amazing things put into the game, especially as an SRV fanatic. I've spent hours playing around on the structures, even climbing the largest spire from the ground to the top. That's way too long for an entry sadly, instead this is the exit.

My first attempt at jumping off the very top 6km up, then landing and stopping on the furthest leaf 4km away.
Started in free cam then back into the cockpit as I leave the spire.

Recorded at the spire site at Pegasi Sector IH-U b3-4 B 1 e on 13/10/24

Wow, that's a truly epic swan dive Sgurr. And there was me thinking the platforms were high up! Beautifully judged to bullseye the landing!

So here's the SRV stunts video I have recorded. The location is Mel 22 Sector UT-R C4-4 system on a planet 1A. This planet is one of the few that has Thargoid Surface Site, containing the Thargoid map inside of a crashed Titan mothership.

Unfortunately, I guess I have a problem with my hard drive and I had to edit this video because I'd need to either record it in 360p resolution or even less, and even that wouldn't eliminate all the cuts. So I've tried to edit it without cutting out too many content.

But to not leave you with this unprofessional video, I'll share with you also our promotion of the SRV race from Aurora Venatores squadron, that we have organized 2 years ago on my second channel (back these days it was the only one). The title is in Polish but there is no speech or text so don't worry 😅

For those bold enough to try, the petals on the Thargoid Spires turn these places into truly awesome SRV platform jumping stunt parks. The ultimate challenge is to perform a complete lap of the large spire (whose platforms are some 11,000 ft above the ground), then jump over to the middle spire, bounce off one of its platforms and use the momentum to carry you across to finish on the smallest spire.

This video was filmed on the 7th October 3310 at the Spire site in HIP 19870.

I'm tempted to try , I've died a few times falling off those

Oh, my goodness. You just look at this distant leaf, and by force of willpower manage to make your SRV levitate towards it. Amazing.

I'm not a professional stunt driver but I hope you enjoyed this. I also blew up my SRV and ended up dying in the end, but I couldn't record myself dying.

I also invite everyone to subscribe to my channel, I'm making a comedy series about the game Elite Dangerous and it's turning out great, I'd be very happy to see new people subscribe to my channel! Thank you JustAbout <3

Ramping off a Thargoid Spire in a Scorpion - freefall seems endless… until the ground comes rushing up to meet you ;)

Amazing! Removing the slicks and putting the roll cage and stunt tyres back on as we speak.

Fully expecting Alec to come second in this, just like he does for almost every Buckyball race ever.
