The NGC 7822 Nebula is home to O-type stars, the most luminous and massive of main-sequence stars. These characteristics also make them among the shortest-lived (1-10 million years). As a result, this nebula is filled with black hole remnants from the supernovae of O-type stars, making it an excellent candidate for studying this phenomenon.

I found this Nebula when I was out exploring. I found a suspicious spot and went after it. When I arrived, there was this work of art that you can see in the photos...

This is Shapley 1, aka The Fine Ring nebula. Less than 1000LY from the bubble, and very pretty with its central star.

Took this out in the horsehead nebula awhile back, on the way home from the crystal shards. Where is the nebula you ask? Everywhere. [Insert Woody and Buzz meme here].

A little jaunt I took a while back to the Veil, Sadr, the Gorgon and North American Nebulae. Here are my two favourites. I liked that the North American Nebula was so bright and contrasted with the colour of the orange and lime Sadr Nebula. I enjoy the sense of false perspective that the asteroids in the planetary ring gave it. almost like a pond with lilly pads.

the second shot was of the North American Nebula much closer up from just above the surface of a planet with a thin atmosphere. the nebula became more faint as you descended into the atmosphere but I liked the altitude that I captured this one at as it made the nebula look like distant mountains.

I've travelled to California Nebula, often alternatively called by me an "Interceptor Nebula", because it looks for me like a Thargoid Interceptor when watched from a correct perspective 😅

You don't need to travel to Sagittarius A*, the center of our galaxy to have some amazing views. California "Interceptor" Nebula is definitely one of my most favorite in terms of shape and color and it's not that far away, only ~1k Ly from Sol. Just have in mind you can encounter some Thargoids while travelling to this place directly from the Bubble.

Hello everyone

Below are screenshots I took today around the Horsehead Nebula and Barnard's Loop. I took some of these shots for coverage and traveled to other planets. Of course, I had to take my Fleet Carrier here (which was cool), but this made it difficult to visit certain systems as some were on a permissions system which I did not have.

All this despite that, since I at least got to take some photos of some planets where it looked beautiful with a red color and the Horsehead Nebula in the field. The images came out slightly dark, but I hope you still enjoy!

This is from my recent 7k ly trip to the Bubble Nebula to unlock the engineers that require you to go 5k ly away from home because if you are going to go that far you might as well make something out of it.

And here is another Nebula I went by on the way.

In the photo I'm right in front of the nebula (Elite Map), looking at an interesting celestial body. With a distance of 5k ly from the bubble, it is an interesting tourism option. It's a short detour to the galactic center, but it's worth it.

After all, Elite doesn't have dogs, but it does have cats, so it's good :)

A while ago, Cmdr. Esme Wyrd and I came up with the idea of exploring the Catspaw Nebula.

We flew there on different routes and finally met in Catspaw to take photos together.

A fun and beautiful trip to remember.

Hello Commanders.

On this occasion I come to present the nebula “PHROI BLUAE QI-T E3-3454” which is located on the other side of the center of the galaxy. I found it on the way to Beagle Point in September of this year.

I took this on my way to the core of the galaxy.

Here's a few of my favourite nebula screenshots. The first was taken on a trip to Colonia, the second and third from one of the prettiest systems I've visited (BD-12 1172 in the Spirograph nebula) and the last I sadly don't remember (but I'm sure someone will recognise it).

This nebula is one we cant reach, nor explore... Its a part of the skybox but, one could only imagine what it would look like or feel to be right at the center... or if we had a second lost colony station at the center of that majestic...terrifying astronomical anomaly

This are 2 galaxy close to us, we can't visit they because there is no star to the ship be able to jump between the milk-way and the those galaxy.

I haven't been that far out of the bubble, the nebulas I have visited so far are the closest ones to our home systems. The first one, just by looking at it, we can tell that it's the Eagle Nebula, you can note the cluster of stars of Eagle Sector in this image:

The second one is quite a famous one, Pleiades Nebula, where we discovered the return of the thargoids:

I unfortunately haven't visited too many nebulas due to sticking pretty close to the bubble, but there are a couple of short trips I took this year that I'm quite proud of.

First up, the Trifid Nebula. The pale blues shining from within the brown clouds just looks so pretty, both on approach and from within.

https://twitter.com/CenturisBlake/status/1813739440348754429

Next up is the Sadr nebula, featuring a gas giant with coloring that matches the nebula.

I am also currently en route to visit the Bubble Nebula, though I'm not quite close enough to get any screenshots of it yet.

There are hidden things in most the Nebula. Usually giant broken robot parts and destruction. Sometimes animations like at the Orion Nebula white spot eye. You do have to adjust your colors though... all monitors are different or I'd be successful in sharing.
