Welcome to our weekly Elite Dangerous combat contest: Kill of the Week. To win a prize, send us video footage of the best kill you made this week! 'Best' is subjective - it could be prettiest, biggest, most epic, or most surprising. We'll judge each kill on its own merits, but PvP kills will be favoured over PvE.
Includeat least a couple of sentences to contextualise your kill, for example, tell us who you were fighting and what led up to the showdown. Ideally, the kills would have transpired over the last week, but we won't disqualify you if they're a little older. If your video is over five minutes long, it may be disqualified if you don't timestamp or otherwise indicate the moment of the kill.

I was looking for that pirate, but he found me first... to his own misfortune. Python Mk2 is a quite good ship for taking down bigger ships. The only thing I need now is better shield.

A clip of my Clipper taking out an Anaconda. Good fun. Clippers often become RezHaz fodder but not this one. I'm a bit rusty but nothing like module targeting with some thermal shock beams. Testing some merit gain from bounties.

This time a Dangerous Fer-de-Lance showed up trying to protect they fellow pirates that I was hunting, she could be Dangerous but I was used to kill big groups of pirates by myself and this ship wouldn't be a problem and it wasn't, took it down in 2 minutes and just get a few scratches at my Python.

These NPC Anacondas do some crazy 180 degree as if they were a Vulture, and those 360 degree turreted lasers are annoying, but still, nothing is impossible to kill on a Fer-de-Lance :)

i was recently invited by a new friend to participate in a BGS action that their squad was involved in, it was in fed space, so i was eager to take on some fed ships as where i base myself is predominantly imperial.
i was rewarded in the first CZ i participated in with this elite federal corvette, toe to toe, 2 corvettes having a fine dance.
