Welcome to our weekly Elite Dangerous combat contest: Kill of the Week. To win a prize, send us video footage of the best kill you made this week! 'Best' is subjective - it could be prettiest, biggest, most epic, or most surprising. That said, we're looking for high-skill kill videos; both PvP or PvE is acceptable (but you'd better show some real skill in the latter). We'll judge each kill on its own merits.
Include at least a couple of sentences to contextualise your kill, for example, tell us who you were fighting and what led up to the showdown. Ideally, the kills would have transpired over the last week, but we won't disqualify you if they're a little older. If your video is over five minutes long, it may be disqualified if you don't timestamp or otherwise indicate the moment of the kill.
Important: To enter original video rewards like this one, you must first connect the video account you're sharing the video with. It's how we prove authenticity.

Took a trip to the local Haz Res for some light bounty hunting in the imperial eagle. It doesn't have much staying power, even with the advanced missile racks. This is a single Cyto burst laser with short range mod (inertial impact) and two missile racks with rapid fire (penetrator munitions).
Its very fun and fast (720 m/s boost), just not as nimble as some other small ships. I took out a dangerous anaconda. Cyto made short work of the shields and the missiles popped the power plant.

i took a few threat lvl8 assassination missions last week, they are very entertaining and challenging, here's another threat lvl8 mission threat level 6 signal source, this one was a real challenge
