Our latest screenshot bounty asked players to jump into (or hey, maybe instigate) the hottest conflicts in EVE Online to perform some ‘danger photography’. We wanted dogfights, narrow escapes, and the biggest, prettiest explosions they could find in New Eden. Below are five stunning examples from our community of veteran capsuleers.
Screenshot contests will continue to be one of our bread-and-butter bounty formats. We have another one launching this weekend covering the coolest custom Keepstars, and will probably run another action bounty in the future, adding its winners to this article. So, if you’ve been sitting on a Doomsday Device, don’t detonate it without two fingers on ‘Ctrl’ and ‘F9’ and another on ‘Print Screen’.
Crimson skies
@Celltear'sshot of Pochven shows ships silhouetted in front of a carmine star. Original post.
That’s no moon
Well, actually it is. But that doesn’t make its neighbouring armada any less menacing. Screenshot by Brother Grimoire. Original post
Realistic battle damage
We asked for action shots, and that’s exactly what Melicien Tetro provided with their up-close-and-personal battle scene. No photographers were harmed in the making of this photo. Probably. Original post.
Hold formation!
Bonus points to Kane Carnifex for including an accompanying Norwegian heavy metal soundtrack with his gothic-looking screenshot. Give it a listen, you’ll see why it’s a good fit. ‘Shields aligned!’ Original post
Electric escapades
The armour plating on @funinc's Raptor is the only thing keeping them from neon oblivion. Original post
If you have any theme ideas for screenshot bounties, let us know in the comments below! If it’s a great idea, we’ll make it happen. And if you haven’t yet had today’s fill of EVE Online shots, check out our community members’ Pirate’s Life photo-essays. We also recommend exploring the EVE photography of Razorien aka CCP Aperture, whose image we’ve featured at the top of the page.
