In the first week of our increased KotW (Killmail of the Week) rewards, Rixx Javix and Stay Frosty went ice-fishing, and pulled out a real prize catch: an Avalanche. Like hornets taking down a buffalo, a battle of attrition followed. And what followed that was a very pretty boom. Here's the killmail followed by Rixx's summary and the video. It's a good'un!
"On a roam yesterday we spotted this Avalanche undocking. Shortly afterwards our team noticed that he disconnected and warped off to a random location. With only a minute to do so, our intrepid scout was able to lock his location down and get us on the ship. We were just in a kitchen sink group of Frigates, but we managed to bring down the ship. We even pulled all the cargo from the wreck and sold it back to the pilot for a nice 2.5 billion ISK profit."
