For some this may feel to recent to be history... But the lasting sagas, stories, and legends of Goonswarm are too strong to ignore.

1DQ1-A was my home for years, and Goonswarm was the first place I truly felt at home. For me this was a piece of history, and for many players its the same.

Come pay hommage to this monument as you would to the Eve Monument in Iceland!

This is truly a legacy and an incredible place to visit. Especially if you visit with a Rifter.

Greetings.

Every arthunter knows this system, for it is the only way to cut the entire galaxy from one end to the other in 10 minutes.

Get to know this Thera there are many anomalies that are wormholes, with the help of them you can quickly move around the eve, but for this you must have the right set of tags. In this system, in addition to wormholes, there are also destroyed planets with the wreckage of stations and the anomaly Epicenter.

System - Otitoh
Region - The Forge
Specific Location - Planet IV - Moon 1 - Lai Dai Corporation Factory

One of the closest High Sec systems, Otitoh, is a wonderful up close location to seeing Caroline's Star (Other than the Null Sec system of JZV-F4), but you can see Caroline's Star from all Empire and Null-Sec locations across New Eden.

W477-P was the location of a Red Giant that was contained in a Talocan Dyson Sphere, the Jovians later acquired this system when they moved into the UUA-F4 Region several thousand years ago. They utilized this system to power their near omnipresent being across New Eden, powering wormhole generators that could transit Jovian ships to and from any location in New Eden as they desired.

When the Drifter Invasion first began, they first targeted the remnants of the Third Jovian Empire and destroyed/destabilized the Dyson Sphere around W477-P, causing it to supernova. With the advanced technology present in the system, the supernova exploded at superluminal speeds, meaning the exploding light was ejected at FTL speeds and could be seen down in the Omist region nearly 100 Light Years away mere months after the initial explosion, rather than - well...100 years.

This event coincided with the destabilization of the cloaking devices concealing the Jovian Observation Posts, and marked a clear end to the Jovians within New Eden, their last contingent orders handing their seat at CONCORD over fully to the Society of Conscious Thought - their spiritual successors.

It's a marvel to witness and observe, and imagine what kind of wonderous technology existed that caused a star's dying light to be seen across the star cluster much faster than what normally would have happened in our current understanding of physics.

The home of the Golden Fleets is quite a sight to behold, and to experience firsthand, as you will be immediately embraced by the very history of EVE Online.

In your tour around the stars, be sure to visit Amarr! Amarr is the capital system of the aptly-named Amarr Empire, located in the Domain region, and part of the appropriately named “Throne Worlds” constellation. As the capital system, the central Emperor Family Academy station provides missions for capsuleers to follow, who at one time literally took orders from the Empress herself.

Amarr’s nebulae resembles the heavens itself. A look straight up to the galactic plane above makes it appears as though you are gazing into the kingdom of God, Himself.

Amarr also serves as the primary trade hub for the Amarrian Empire. Therefore, the system and Local channels are always bustling with activity. Keep your wits about you, however, as the ‘offers’ from your neighbors may sometimes be no better than ones you might find in Jita Local.

The most notable feature you will discover upon arriving in Amarr, and in particular at the Emperor Academy station, are four Avatar-class Titans positioned in formation just outside the station and in the silhouette of the nearby planet. These unique vessels are named for the capsuleers who represented the victorious House Task-Murkon during the Amarr Succession Trials: Kelon Darklight, Lucian IV, Wasa Qc, and Maxine Antilles. These Trials were held to determine the heir to the Amarr Empire following the violent assassination of Empress Jamyl I by Drifters in Sarum on YC117, August 21 (2015). Victory was finally achieved in April YC118 (2016), with the Titans standing as symbols of recognition to the Tash-Murkon team.

The Trials, and the presence of these Titans, are yet another reminder that we, as players, truly do shape the course of the history of EVE Online.

I've created more than a few pieces of art over the years for this system and the Fallen Capsuleers Memorial that is located there. It is worthy of a visit to pay your respects to all those that have gone before us, or to honor a lost friend or family member. Rixx himself can't go there, but I will often take one of my alts into system to pay my respects.

This is one of the many systems in Eve Online that I believe every player should make time to personaly visit.

FYI - Little known behind-the-scenes fact, the painting of the nebula in the Molea poster is the same painting I ended up using for the same nebula in the packaging for the War For New Eden Board Game.
