Yeah, im afraid this is gonna have to be the last just about contest I enter. The bias has just been way too obvious on my last handful of entries and now I have to walk away from it altogether because its become a waste of time to put in all the effort to hand draw something like this to get beat out by a map made in inkarnate.

Sorry to hear that you're displeased. Hopefully when we explain the reasoning, you'll see how and why we arrived at our decision. While it's a really great painting of a 18th century pirate scene, we couldn't identify any uniquely EVE features, and so felt that it failed to meet the core 'reimagine EVE' part of the brief. All other entries that we deemed not to have successfully met that core of the brief were rejected outright; it was only because of the high levels of artistry displayed in yours that we decided to give it a runner-up prize anyway.
If you do decide to stick with Just, you're very welcome to enquire about any of our rewarding decisions, but we do politely ask that you don't single out other members' entries when you do
