My hot pick would be the ever delivering CCP Convict!

It seems everything is linked back to him in some description:

  1. Live2Feed streams - as the cameraman

  2. LAN party at FF - as above, as organiser

  3. CCP FF hosting and stream

  4. !drops & the CCP streams

He is everywhere, but nowhere to be seen - last year, I wanted to chat to him after my presentation (he was incredibly helpful with that), but failed. Likewise, this year too, spoke to him at the LAN party, he is everywhere but nowhere to be seen as he is always doing something for the community!

He has also championed NPSI, FUN INC and NPSI.ROCKS right from the start - we have placement on EVE-O website, we have placement on the CCP stream with the !npsi shortcut, and loads of other really cool things, like the FC stream that i did on CCP twitch, the PlexforGood announcement in game, amongst other things- hell... he even name-dropped us at the closing ceremony!

Not saying that any of the other devs arent right up there, however in my eyes, for the exposure that we have garnered from Convict, the world is a better place with CCP Convict!

I would like to nominate the ISD team, specifically ISD Forgefire.

Through their consistent support, New Eden is able to function seamlessly behind the curtains. Moderating the cesspool that can be their Discord, Twitch chat and the local chats can never be an easy task, but they seem to do it with ease. The ISD volunteers are incredibly helpful to new-bros in the Help Chat, always keen to give thoughtful answers to what a better-vet may see as common-sense. These are also some of the most passionate individuals EVE have to offer! They love this game and love their community.

If you are ever interested in helping our 'constantly down-ward spiraling' game to live for another 20 years, I would strongly point you towards their sign-up page!

I'd put CCP_Swift's name in the hat as someone worth celebrating.

He has a big job handling the community and he does it well! All of my experiences with him have been very positive and I know he works hard for us <3 <3 <3

I'd like to shine a spotlight on CCP Guard, a true luminary in the EVE Online community. His enduring dedication to creating memorable moments and fostering camaraderie among players is unparalleled.

CCP Guard's engaging personality and hosting skills have made countless Fanfests and in-game events unforgettable. He's the face behind so many player interactions and has a unique talent for bringing EVE's universe to life.

Beyond that, CCP Guard has shown exceptional empathy and support during challenging times, demonstrating that CCP truly values its player base. His commitment to keeping the community engaged and informed is something we all deeply appreciate.

Here's to CCP Guard, a remarkable figure in the EVE community who continues to make our journey in New Eden more enjoyable and memorable!"

I want to give a shout-out to Morning Maniac.

He's still active greeting new players in the EVE University forums. For those who don't know him, Morning Maniac was the founding CEO of EVE University, the Ivy League alliance, and an executive in the Big Blue.

Starting and running a corp and EVE is a hard task. Not only did he do so and keep it running for years he set the foundation for an ever-expanding bureaucracy that has kept E Uni steady for decades. And what a corp he created.

EVE University was the NPE for the longest time. Countless graduates were acclimated to the game through the hard work of Morning Maniac and his keen ability to volunteer the right people for director roles and then delegate. Morning Maniac has left a profound positive impact on the EVE community both in New Eden and on the interwebs.

He deserves some positive vibes sent his way.

Choosing just one figure from the community for recognition is undoubtedly a difficult task. I believe that everyone contributes significantly to the game's growth. The simplest thing would be to recognize all those who take the time every day to create incredible content that continues to inspire the entire community. However, in my case, there's one figure that undoubtedly shaped my perspective of the game and helped me improve. I'm talking about Strange Net. His channel is perhaps one of the few where you can truly see the industrial aspect of the game. He explains the mechanics and tricks for industry, earning ISK, guides on how to make profits with Hypernet, Abyssal, and more. I consider it a great source of information and, in my case, a source of inspiration for playing as an industrialist.
