While not typically inclined to see movies with strangers, I will admit sometimes the experience has been heightened by the fact there are other viewers. What film did you see in a theater which would not have been the same at home?
In 2018 I went to see A Quiet Place at a theater which serves drinks/full meals and I ordered some breaded chicken strips and an IPA. I never knew just how loud chicken strips could feel to be eating. No one ate their food because you could hear a pin drop in that theater and that desire to not make noise fit so perfectly with the content of the film, it heightened the experience far more than any sort of home-viewing would have.
