That's awesome, I loved the first film! I ended up accidentally watching it the other day 😄 I was on the laptop catching up on some life admin, so I thought I'd stick it on in the background. I didn't even make it past the first scene before I turned the laptop off 😂
Did you spend much time playing WoW, or do you prefer the other media (books, films, non-MMO games)?
As someone with extensive experience in WoW, I believe the movie took a misstep.
While WoW's lore is epic and set industry standards thanks to Chris Metzen and other creators, I feel that's not it's core essence. Consider this: the campaign and leveling process are merely a prelude to the game's true experience.
WoW is about the stories we create with friends. It's about those late nights jumping atop Orgrimar bank while chatting over comms after hard raid, the guild dramas, the family cross-generation bonds forged in-game. These elements are the heart of WoW's community.
In my opinion, a comedy series would better capture WoW's spirit. Shows like 'Vox Machina,' 'Knights of Badassdom,' or 'Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves' could more effectively portray the real essence of WoW's raids, PvP, role-playing, and epic moments.

I did like the movie, but you do have a very good point. Would be interesting to see a movie made in that spirit.
