I think the 2005 reboot of Doctor Who is one of the best in terms of bring a beloved franchise back into the mainstream.

Little do people know but Scarface (1983) was a remake of the 1932 film version.

I love The Karate Kid movies sooooo much and because of this I very quickly fell in love with Cobra Kai. I still love the movies, but Cobra Kai just hits different

I do really like how we get to see the stereotypical bully's point if view in Cobra Kai and see that the hero wasn't always perfect either... I think the show adds depth to the antagonist and protaganist and, in doing so, meshes the two together.

YES! The character development is excellent. Like you say, it adds so much depth! I love how it doesn't negate anything from the movies, just adds to it instead. Sad the last season is incoming, but thankful for one more season
