Have you tried Netflix's interactive TV shows?

Netflix is pulling most of their interactive shows from the platform on 1st December, so don't wait too long if you want to try them out!

Netflix will delist just about all of its interactive shows and films as of December 1st, the company confirms to The Verge. Netflix’s “Interactive Specials” page lists 24 titles, but only four will remain: Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. the Reverend, Ranveer vs. Wild with Bear Grylls, and You vs. Wild.

I think Netflix has bet a lot on carving out a slice of the gaming market, either by launching mobile games from Netflix accounts or with interactive programs, but no one opens Netflix looking to play, just watch, so it couldn't work, it won't be missed!

I agree with most of what you're saying, but there's a lot of untapped potential. They have a lot of interesting IP and the interface is similar to many console digital libraries.

They might see better success if they promoted their console app and added a sub-menu after login asking if you want to "watch" or "play".

Also, focusing on mobile publishing before adding games to their platform would let players get used to the idea of Netflix being involved in games.

I’ve ONLY played/watched Black Mirror: Bandersnatch. I was with my ex at the time and we had a fun discussion for each choice and then went back and got all the possible paths. It’s a bit like the Supermassive Games titles (Until Dawn, The Quarry, etc.) which I am a huge fan of.

Idk if I think it’s the future of entertainment, but Bandersnatch was fun to experience that way

How different were the endings? I imagined they'd be fairly similar as it can't be cheap to make it and they wouldn't want to waste the footage!

I was lucky enough to see the interactive episode of Netflix's Black Mirror

although I didn't have the options to participate in it, but I found it very interesting and I hope that in the future there will be more interactive shows like that.
