Netflix has announced that their price of membership will increase for both tiers;
Without ads currently it is $15.49 and will increase to $17.99 (~£14.60) a month
Membership with adverts currently is $6.99 and will increase to $7.99 (~£6.49) a month
(please note Netflix has not announced the UK pricing so the above are from the dollar to pound sterling conversion as of 2025/1/22)
With the success of Squid Game 2, incredible viewership from Tyson vs Paul, and partnerships with the NFL/WWE, Netflix has been pulling in above-expected sales.
However when will the price be too much for the average consumer and become akin to cable/satellite (a luxury that only rich people could afford).
Will you be continuing your subscription to this platform with this recent price increase?
