What a genuine surprise and delight Heart Eyes was to watch. I realize it’s only March, but I’m not exaggerating when I say this may end up being my 2025 horror film of the year.

It’s funny, has BUCKETS of blood and gore, and has the perfect run time to wrap itself in a neat, enjoyable little bow without dragging on or feeling incomplete.

As I often tend to do, I didn’t watch a trailer or look up reviews before hand so I had no idea it was going to have such a great sense of humor.

If you are a fan of the overall vibe in movies like Happy Death Day, you will love Heart Eyes.

I say buy it. I’m certainly adding it to my yearly Valentine’s Day watchlist.

The only criticism I could possibly level at it is the twist at the end wasn’t exactly unexpected, but I truly didn’t even care because the ride to get there was so much fun.
