Hey everyone
Happy almost-weekend! We’re back with the second-ever Feature Friday post, our regular chance to celebrate the best posts shared across all our communities. In the spotlight this week we have EveOnlineTutorials, FUN INC, and Rixx Javix.
As one of our newest members, EveOnlineTutorials has gone above and beyond with their thoughtful bounty submissions. As their username suggests, their posts have focused on sharing helpful hints and tips for EVE Online - something we all appreciate, given EVE’s famous learning curve! Here’s their take on the best starter activities for those who are ready to venture into J-space.
FUN INC will be most familiar to folks in Just About EVE Online, but we wanted to highlight their post here in JAJA for its nuanced perspective on giving and receiving feedback online. It’s all too easy to lose sight of this attitude, but all communities would be healthier if we didn’t, and we’ll try to grow our platform with it in mind.
Last but not least, here’s the Pirate Lord of Lowsec, Rixx Javix, telling swashbuckling tales of astral piracy while laughing in the face of danger! Check out his full post to read about record-setting combat in EVE Online, the game which makes headlines for its thousand-player battles. To borrow their possibly ill-advised motto: risk it all or go home.
Is there a post or a member that has stood out to you this week? It could be a particularly thoughtful submission to a bounty, a reply that made you feel welcome, or a discussion that really got the community going? Let us know in the comments, and have a great weekend!
