Hey folks
We’re back with another Feature Friday! It’s been a week full of bounties, curated content, and great discussion. Here’s a bite-sized recap of some of the best in case you missed anything…
Games are getting better at designing for inclusion, with accessibility features being key to widening participation. Retro Stu shares his take and, whether you need them or not, invites you to share the features that have improved your gaming experience.
In this new piece of curated content, EVE Online members break down the different components of the game outside its famous conflicts, and is a great showcase of how intricate and diverse the EVE experience can be. What other game gives you such control over the ebb and flow of power across the universe? If you like our departmental deep dives (here’s the latest from Al, our Commercial Director, by the way) then this is like the EVE Online version: a nice overview of the pieces that make the game work.
Finally, if you’ll forgive a little self-indulgence, everyone on the team was heartened by this post from EveOnlineTutorials . We’re not building Just About for the praise, but comments like this let us know we’re on the right path. Let us know if you agree with these sentiments, but crucially, let us know if there’s anything we could be doing better, too!
Don’t forget you can still drop in to any of these discussions to pick up the conversation, and we’ll be right there with you. Have a great weekend everyone, and see you in the replies!
