So I've just started trying out video entries for some of the bounties instead of going straight for text or screenshots if the option is there. While I'm obviously not new to Youtube as a service, I am when it comes to uploading my own videos.
Under paid promotion it says:
"If you accepted anything of value from a third party to make your video, you must let us know. We'll show viewers a message telling them that your video contains paid promotion." then has a tick box for it.
While on the one hand it isn't directly paid promotion and also I might not win them anyway, on the other, I made them because I wanted to enter the bounty and therefore it does sound like (if I win) that I have accepted something of value from a third party to make the video.
What do the more experienced youtubers think on this issue/setting and how do you justify one way or the other what setting should be chosen?
