I’ve noticed a strong delta between the reactions/responses of user posts vs. staff/mod posts.
The Just About staff and mods are integral to the success of the site we are all clearly enjoying. Just because they have an indicator by their name doesn’t mean they are immune to what this site is about—rewarding interaction. So give the peeps some love, yeah?

FYI: Just About staff are ineligible for Bounties and Organic Rewards, so their motivation is nearly entirely fuelled by your good vibes and nice comments :-)
I know they aren’t eligible, but I also know interaction must have a factor in staff review. Surely staff post and article interaction is tracked? That’s what I meant, not that they benefit from the site’s user incentives.
If such tracking exists then I demand to be able to press the like button multiple times, because some of the discussions were so great I wanted to give thousand likes but smashing that button is not allowed.

There've been regularly posts giving them praise, and I love the conversations sparking up under bounties, especially when they like the bounty so much they post what would be their submission if it was allowed.
For those of us who have been here awhile, trust me, we love the JA Staff mate :)
I think my newness (and enthusiasm) may have made me a little defensive/protective lol. I’m sorry, I come from a data oriented profession and when I saw the user posts getting all the love over staff posts, I was afraid it might be a part of their review.
It’s no worries and it’s good to see mate, what’s being built here is unique, as a YouTuber I get invited to this that and the other, when I was contacted by Alex I assumed it would just be another waste of time.
Now however I am super happy to be here and take part in this community. What makes it amazing is that the staff take active measures and to keep the members safe and the posts moderated to an acceptable levels by setting clear guidelines on what is acceptable and what isn’t.
I’ve said it a few times on here now, but I haven’t had social media since 2010 due to, you know, the internet. I’m really excited about this platform. It feels safe and for an earth-burrowing creature such as myself, I appreciate and am therefore defensive of that.
I’m sorry if I get overly protective of the folks here. I haven’t had a place to be me online in quite a while.
