How's this for a Friday treat? Just About has two new communities: Minecraft and Pokémon. Pull up a blocky log and let's tell you how this came about.
Our new neighbourhoods
Back in April, we announced a wave of bounties based on specific gaming IP. We didn't really have an exact plan for what to do on the back of this experiment, but we wanted to give you all more things to get involved with. Beyond that, we were open to being guided by your response. And it seems you folks really love your pocket monsters.
To be clear, a couple of bounties based on a particular game does not mean that a community for said game is around the corner. Many, many different factors go into major decisions like the launch of a new community. But in this case, the stars aligned.
Check out the first few bounties on Just About Minecraft:
Use redstone to automate something and tell us how you did it
Go screenshot hunting for the new Breeze and Bogged enemies
Complete a trial chamber!
What do you want to see added to Minecraft in the next update?
Tell us about your favourite Minecraft memory!
And on Just About Pokémon:
Who is your favourite gym leader and why?
Share your best screenshot from any Pokémon game
Show us your most powerful Pokémon in Pokémon Go!
Tell us about your favourite Pokémon memory
Create some Pokémon fan art

As always, we want to ensure your voice is reflected in what you get to do, say, and make, so we're also running suggest-a-bounty bounties in both communities.
You can already discuss much of entertainment and pop culture somewhere on Just About. These new launches are a powerful complement to our Spaces on video games, music, books and comics, film and TV, adding communities for two of the biggest gaming IPs on the planet.
So dive on in and get vocal! The more you participate and the more you say and share, the more information we have to work with as we try to make Just About the best community platform on the internet.
