Hey folks! For all our new members, these Friday updates go out just before the weekend to catch you all up on the latest developments on the platform. And as I’m sure you noticed, it’s been a busy and exciting week!
Just About Elite Dangerous
Yesterday we launched our newest community, Just About Elite Dangerous, in official partnership with Frontier Developments. This comes less than a month after CCP renewed for season 2 of Just About EVE, and we’re absolutely thrilled to expand our communi-verse-ty and welcome members of the Elite community onto the platform. Let’s give them a warm welcome!
From galaxies to gods
Hot on the tails of JA Elite we teased another partnered community, Just About SMITE 2, which will be launching on August 27. Rich has shared a helpful announcement article, so no need to divine the details! We’ll share more in due course.
Bug fixes and optimisations
While we’ve been busy on the platform our tech team has been hard at work behind the scenes. This week we’ve introduced the following bug fixes and optimisations:
Fixed a bug preventing some members from receiving bounty notifications and another that added a decimal to bounty rewards in the in-feed carousels
Styling has been optimised for checkboxes, spacing, and birth date formatting that interrupted the sign-up flow.
Bugs have been fixed causing a toolbar to appear over the JAComposer on mobile, and another related to tagging members.
