Have you seen the buzz on social media? Have you heard the whispers on the streets of Reykjavik? Have you witnessed the fireworks launched from battlecruisers in orbit of Caldari Prime? Well, we’re proud to make it official: CCP Games has extended its partnership with Just About for another year.
A smash hit!
CCP marked the occasion by reintroducing Just About to members of their Partner Program, to their Discord server, across their social media channels, and with a new press release, which included this quote from CCP Games Brand Director Grant Tasker:
”Rewarding our community with Just About has been brilliant, we can't wait for another year! Bounties have enabled us to bring our fans so much closer, make them feel more valued, and even increased applications to our Creator Program. It's been fantastic.”
Season One recap
272 bounties and 1,390 bounty submissions. Not bad, huh? What’s more, Just About EVE members have created almost 100 pieces of curated content, including guides and resources, such as this fleet etiquette manual, this EVE Online glossary, this third-party tool list, this gank-avoidance masterclass, and loads of ship fittings that CCP has added in-game.
There have also been countless creative projects, including amazing fanfiction, photo-essays, mockumentaries, faction propaganda, artwork, screenshots, shanties, and limericks.
That’s not to forget the results of our special VIP bounties, like our community interviews, the time the Space Pope read out uplifting EVE Online stories in a heart-warming Christmas address, or the time that AlexGoesTheWorld made an entire travel agency website for legendary player Katia Sae’s guest bounty!
Like a good show should, Season One concluded with a dramatic cliff-hanger. In our case, that’s our Grand Mystery Bounty: a multistage challenge with a $500 prize. It’s no easy feat, and we suspect it’ll be a while until a challenger with the flying skills, firepower, and riddle-solving ability manages to conquer it. Could it be you?
A new dawn in New Eden
Now that we’ve shown what we can do, we’re thrilled to take things to the next level. In the words of his holiness the Space Pope:
“Let’s continue to spread our love across the universe. And by ‘love’ we, of course, mean ‘lasers’.”
