that’s great! So, if I understand correctly, you’re kind of getting into the Halloween spirit kinda recently?

I’d love to hear your what your doing on All Hallows Eve this year specifically!

Sometimes I forget that Halloween is a western thing and it is a joy to see people get into it

I think like Christmas, black Friday, Halloween and inclusive Thanksgiving day start like local tradition from one specific country or region

But slowly with the Globalization go to the rest of the planet from Latin America to China

Greetings 😊

I live in a country with ZERO Halloween culture (Brasil), so the most we got were special episodes in cartoons

I think it's worth increasing this culture here in Brazil!

For us, our day normally goes like this

We watch Hocus Pocus every year. We have popcorn and sweets and then we go trick-or-treating with the little ones in villages because it's safer.

Then it's back home for more kids' movies before bed.

Here in my country the new generations are still trying to implement a greater presence of Halloween, it happens but with less force. But I still love the day! I love the costumes, the idea of telling horror stories... Even though I'm very scared haha

I love it! Keep spreading the good word of Halloween haha

Turning off the downstairs lights, closing the curtains, parking the car on the next street across, and hiding upstairs all night hoping no trick or treaters visit my house

Halloween is my favorite holiday! On the actual day, one of the first things I do is help my dad amp up the outside decorations for trick or treaters. It's always been a "my dad and me" kind of holiday, he was the one that would take me trick or treating every year while my mom passed out candy. Now we go out together with my little girl and niece and nephew. We'll have some kind of child friendly Halloween show on the tv. We usually eat some pizza and then the frazzle of everybody getting ready/final touches on costumes begins right before we head out. And head out we do, trudging door to door in rain, sleet, snow or shine (Michigan weather!). Afterward, the kids dump their loot and sort through it. Of course there's always some cider and donuts to be had. OH, and I check out how many Reese's peanut butter pumpkins my little one got (candy tax!). Then we go home, wash what we can of grease makeup and hairspray, and start planning for next year as we fall asleep content. lol

That sounds awesome! We should do a thread with pics of everyone's costumes! I live in the middle of nowhere but I'm going to dress up my dogs lmao
