What is your October observance?
Obviously I watch horror all year long, but Halloween night is a special one for me.
I start off with Hocus Pocus. I used to start with it because during the trick or treater phase of the night, I didn’t want anything inappropriate on the tv when the kids came around, but obviously I basically live on Mars now, so that’s not a concern. But, tradition is tradition, so Hocus Pocus is still my opener.
Next, my “after dark” film is Trick ‘r Treat, a film adaption of a graphic novel which is just a wicked good time.
After that, I typically watch Alien and Aliens back to back. By the time Aliens is over, I’m well soused on the devil’s nectar and ready for bed lol.
