We’re shaking things up a bit this week. We’ve announced a new partnership, updated the JAJA schedule, and squashed many many bugs. Read on to learn about all the changes we’ve made over the past week or so.
Into the Void(wrought)
Do you have an appetite for video game bounties and need to fill that void? On Friday we announced our new partnership with Kwalee, bringing a series of Voidwrought bounties right into JA Video Games.

JAJA schedule
We’re giving the content schedule in JAJA a bit of a tweak, so here’s a quick rundown of what you can expect.
Member Monday discussions will continue in its usual slot, and we’d love to see more recommendations coming from you, the members. The Friday update is now the weekly update and has moved to Wednesday (that’s today!). Our let’s talk discussions that we shared on Tuesdays and Thursdays are being consolidated and moved to Friday, giving us a conversation starter as we move into the weekend.
Bug fixes and optimisations
The ever-brilliant tech team have been juggling a number of things we can’t yet talk about, but they’ve managed to do so alongside squashing a number of annoying user-facing bugs. Here are a few you might have noticed recently that you will notice no longer:
A series of bugs prevented discussions and replies from loading properly, particularly threaded replies and when the discussion features a poll
Embedded JA discussions would flicker in the JA Composer
Profile pictures temporarily disappeared from the top navigation, thread replies, profile page and profile popover menu
The bounty feed appeared unsorted and main-feed notifications would be sent to all members, even for communities they hadn’t joined
A bug made it appear as though members could react to their own posts and edit posts made by other members
Removed the ‘new reply’ notifications for bounties and the submission count from bounty feed cards
Clicking the Just About logo on the homepage now refreshes the page
Search has been optimised so the search bar returns results much more quickly (give it a try!)
