Are they? Teeth are used for a very specific purpose i.e. making food smaller so you can consume it.

Fingernails don't really do the same function..

To your question, I think so. Just as we cut our nails, we pull out our milk teeth! (Maybe I'm completely lost in your madness)

In my case, every shower I have the same thought: “Am I going bald?”. I'm always amazed at the amount of hair that comes out after washing, even though I know it's completely normal. I find myself getting lost in that same thought every day hahaha

Oh man, when I was 20 about 30% of my hair came out in one shower lmao. I got wicked male pattern baldness so young

Teeth are an ectodermal organ rather then bone like fingernailes.

Another such ectodermal organ is hair, so you could say teeth are the phaic hair of the mouth.
