This is my friend's cat, and his name is "打雷" ('Da Lei,' which means 'Thunder' in Chinese). The name sounds somewhat similar to 'Del Rey' in Chinese, so at first, I thought my friend must be a big fan of Lana Del Rey. However, he explained that the name actually came from the stormy weather on the day 'Da Lei' arrived at his home.
But that’s not the main point. The main point is, after I took the second picture of 'Da Lei' lying comfortably on my belly, I noticed something unfortunate—he hadn’t cleaned his butthole properly...
Haha I thought maybe he was named thunder because he’s a big boy.
My orange cat has that problem. He’s a groady fella
My friend always calls him Fat Thunder since he’s really a big boy lol
This was my big boy Sampson. His nickname was “thug muffin” because he acted tough, but looked like a fluff lol
