Hi, all!

I am in the process of setting up a marathon stream of The Last of Us Part II as a benefit for The Trevor Project, which is a US-based crisis intervention charity focused on LGBTQ+ youth (25 and under).

When:

• To be fully nailed down, but I plan to do it Saturday, March 1st. The game I plan to play can be anywhere from 10 to 14 hours long, depending on breaks and how bad I am at playing it lol.

What I Need:

• I just need as many people I know and trust in the chat to keep everyone safe while I will be juggling half a dozen things, like playing the game, shouting out donors, and periodically doing milestone rewards. You do NOT have to promise to be there the whole time. Literally any stretch of time will be helpful in order to make sure SOMEONE is watching most of the time.

• I'll also be enlisting several IRL friends to donate their time to modding.

Why The Last of Us Part II:

• Ellie is one of the two leads of TLOU series. She is flawed, dynamic, compelling, and happens to be a lesbian. She isn't the lead because she is gay, she is the lead, and she is gay. It is an excellent example of representation done right, and is also a phenomenal story/game.

Why I'm Not Waiting for Pride Month:

• This is an issue now. Plain and simple.

Why You Should Do It:

• For fundraising milestones, I will be incrementally shaving off segments of my beard and hair live on camera, making increasingly ridiculous looks. Come on... you KNOW you want to be there for that lol.

• I can't pay you, but a lot of young people trying to find themselves in an increasingly hostile world could use your help.
