When we announced our big redesign, we said that the new homepage would be one step in a broader platform overhaul. Step two just dropped.
It concerns an aspect of Just that we know is high on your list for attention: member profiles!
If you head to your profile page now (hit your avatar in the top-right of the nav), you’ll notice that it’s had a lick of paint in line with our rebrand, and shows a host of new options:
You can now write a personal bio of up to 500 words
You can link to your off-platform social accounts, as well as a linktree or a personal website
You’ll find a chronological feed of your recent submissions below the bio
You can set your pronouns, as well as change your avatar and display name as before
You’ll also find a refreshed member settings menu
These changes are all about you. They give you a place to show us who you are and what you’ve made that makes you feel proud. And when you create something amazing, other members can click through to your profile to understand your passion a little better, and perhaps follow your channels for more.
This is part of our newly sharpened mission statement of rewarding grassroots creators. First we put rewards at the centre of our homepage experience, and now you have a space to tell us who you are, why you create the brilliant stuff you do, and to discover and support one another in your growth as creators.
